What is etalenta?
Europe’s Casting Platform

As Europe’s casting platform with more than 90,000 professional actors and around 5,000 casting professionals (casting directors, producers, directors and others), we want to act in the interest of performers. We provide the central platform on which all European actors can present themselves in full, without having to fear that in the long run they are merely part of somebody’s profit business.
We work without any profit motive, exclusively in the interest of our members. Our highest goals are equal opportunity, transparency and visibility for actors.
Visibility is vital for actors. The job market situation is anything but easy. At the same time, there are now many platform operators trying to profit financially from this particular situation.
We believe that many of the models on the market are ultimately built on trading in hope, and that they exploit the position of actors further and further. etalenta is the European counter-model. We do not see the future of a European casting platform in a classic commercial business model.
What does the etalenta Graduate Programme include for European Graduates?
Two years of graduate membership at etalenta
Use all available etalenta features free of charge for two years. You can build a comprehensive profile with photos, showreels and an about-me VIDEO, and present yourself to more than 5,000 casting professionals across Europe using a wide range of self-marketing tools. Search for and contact casting directors and agents, and receive the ca:stmag actors’ magazine free of charge for two years, both in print and as a digital edition. The two-year graduate membership ends automatically and does not need to be cancelled. Whether you then wish to support the platform with a cost-covering contribution as a supporting member is entirely your decision.
Special promotion of your profile to more than 5,000 casting professionals
The profiles of all participants in the Graduate Programme are presented not only on european-graduates.eu, but also in a large promotional campaign to more than 5,000 casting directors, producers and directors from across Europe. They are actively informed by email and via social media.
Webinars on casting for film, TV and streaming
Experienced casting directors and other respected industry figures share their valuable knowledge about the casting business. Key questions about starting a career are covered, for example:
- How are casting decisions made?
- Who is involved in the casting process?
- What influence do I have myself?
- How do I present myself best online?
- What can I do to attract the attention of casting decision-makers?
- What should I keep in mind for online castings?

Further activities are continuously being planned to support participants of the Graduate Programme at the start of their careers, for example webinars with established agents and other industry experts.
